Serving Our Community
Giving back where we live and work.
We ask a lot of our communities' goodwill in the course of doing business, so we try to give back in kind — through volunteer time, board service and philanthropic support directed at the organizations doing the work on the ground.
Community involvement isn't something we schedule around client work — it's built into how team members are encouraged to spend their time. From board seats to weekend cleanups, our people show up because the community's success and our own are the same story.
How we show up
-
Paid volunteer time
Team members are given dedicated paid hours each year specifically to volunteer with the causes and organizations that matter to them.
-
Board and committee service
Team members regularly serve on the boards of local nonprofits, bringing financial and governance expertise to organizations that need it.
-
Philanthropic giving, matched
We match team member charitable donations and direct firm giving toward organizations focused on economic opportunity, education and family stability.
-
Financial literacy in the community
Our advisors regularly lead free financial literacy sessions for students, first-time savers and community groups, at no cost and with no sales pitch attached.
Where our time and support go.

Our community involvement is organized loosely around a few areas where we think our team can make the most difference.
